FIRST! I appreciate you being here. Seriously, it means a lottttt!
I'm Patrick! I'm the owner/operator of Realistic Gains, the head coach of our 1-on-1 fitness coaching program, andddd someone who enjoys food, drinks, travel, & experiencing life to the fullest.
I also LOVE fitness - I want to be healthy, look & feel my best, andddd be the best version of me.
However, for a long time (when I was first getting into fitness 10+ years ago), it seemed like that wasn't possible to do.
Butttt after 8+ years of working on my own fitness goals - learning about what workouts & nutrition habits/goals help you make progress losing fat (and keeping it off) while STILL enjoying life...
I realized my passion was to help others make fitness progress in a realistic, simple, enjoyable way!
I also realized that sooo many people were either "all in" & SUPER STRICT with fitness orrrrr they were not caring at all about fitness/nutrition.
It was apparent that people (maybe you) didn't think that you could enjoy your life (going out, fun & tasty foods) and still make progress with your fat loss (or muscle building goals).
Butttt it's possible!! That's why I started my fitness coaches businesses andddd why I started making social media content - to help you (and as many other people) understand & know how to make that kind of progress!
I've worked with 600+ 1-on-1 fitness clients in the last 5+ years anddd helped them lose fat, build muscle, and improve their relationship with food/fitness!
Fitness can be tough BUT we want to make it simple & realistic for you!
Okay okay, outside of my business/coaching, here's more about me!
- I'm originally from Columbus & Cincinnati, Ohio buttttt currently live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!
- My favorite food is Italian (butttt I don't discriminate, I love allllllll food)!
- I grew up playing basketball & still LOVE watching it (I'm from Ohio - LeBron is my all time favorite player!)
- I used to work a Finance job butttt quit when I started my fitness business!
- I'm a bigggg time people person & want everyone to succeed/thrive with what they do (including fitness - but me/my team is here to help with that)!

Kenz Berube:
I'm Kenz! Born & raised in North Dakota! I enjoy relaxing & spending time at home but I do also love horse riding, margaritas, Mexican food (sushi is a close second), and traveling!
I grew up always being the biggest, heaviest kid in my class. However, when I was freshmen in high school I started going to the gym with my mom, being mindful of portions, and ended up losing 60lbs!
Throughout my fitness journey (since then up until today), I've gone through all of the different phases (cardio bunny, food restriction, finally getting into strength training & having a better relationship with food).
I've been able to build muscle, feel confident, become stronger (mentally & physically), and have balance with fitness & life!
I do know how difficult/challenging it can be to make progress (and feel good) AND I also know how fulfilling & great to feels to be healthy/confident/like your body.
That's why I started coaching & training people!
Since 2018, I've been helping people make progress and understand that fitness doesn't have to be complicated/restrictive. You CAN enjoy fun foods/drinks during a 'diet' and still make progress.
I want to help people (you!) make progress losing fat, building muscle, being the most confident version of you, and help you change your lifestyle/habits so that fitness is a PART of your life but not your ENTIRE life.
I can't wait to potentially work together!!

Jason Copher:
What's up! I'm Jason - a fitness coach for Realistic Gains! I'm originally from Chicago but currently live in Fort Myers, Florida!
My fitness journey started when I was in high school. Going into my senior year of high school, I was 5'7" & weighed 205lbs. I was always told that I needed to lose weight throughout my whole childhood by parents, coaches and doctors.
It didn't really occur to me that it was that serious until my basketball coach senior year of high school told me that that I wasn't going to play because I wasn't in good enough shape.
It was hard to hear that at first but I took that and used it as my motivation. In the next 18 Months I lost 60 pounds during that time. Then once Covid hit, I struggled with proper nutrition - I was worried about eating too much because I didn't want to go back to the weight I previously was. I lost another 10 pounds during Covid & got to an unhealthy 135 pounds.
In the last 4 years, I have improved my relationship with food, learned A LOT about nutrition, anddd made progress with my fitness goals (building muscle while keeping fat off)!
Anddd that's why I started coaching people & want to help others! I know how hard it can be to struggle internally and externally with fitness and health.
I've been training/coaching people for 3+ years andd want to help YOU make progress with your goals!
I want to be able to provide the support and knowledge for you (my clients) to be able to grow and feel confident in themselves.
It's an amazing feeling being able to see someone meet their goals and to be able to help them achieve it!
I'm excited to potentially work together!
Other quick information about me!
- My go to pizza is pepperoni but every now & then a buffalo chicken pizza hits the spot.
- My favorite ice cream has to be anything with some brownie pieces in it!
- My favorite sport to play is basketball, but my favorite sport to watch would have to be football (Chargers fan!)

Sarah Ro
Hi! I’m Coach Sarah! I was born and raised in New York but have been living in California for almost 10 years now.
I have been a dancer for most of my life and love teaching, performing, and training with my dance company!
My health and fitness journey started a few years ago when I started rapidly gaining weight, facing challenges like acne, hair thinning, and extreme fatigue. This was all very difficult for me, as I had always been an active person who led a relatively healthy lifestyle, and I couldn’t figure out what was going on with my body. With the help of my doctors, I discovered that I had been struggling with insulin resistance.
I dove headfirst into my diagnosis and became determined to reverse my insulin resistance through diet and lifestyle changes. I became extremely passionate about the transformative power of whole foods and a balanced diet, as I experienced it first-hand on my journey.
Over the last year, I managed to lose 18 pounds, successfully reverse my insulin resistance, and start feeling like myself again!
I am now a certified nutrition coach who is committed to guiding people on their own paths to better health. My mission is to share the knowledge and insights I've gained and empower others to make positive changes and transform their lives through nutrition.

Josh Nassif
Josh here - In the photo above (on the left), I was 400lbs & I’m officially under 200lbs (and have officially lost 200+ lbs)! I know weight loss can be challenging and after my journey, I’ve learned a lottt that can be extremely helpful for others!
I had already started working on my weight loss journey a few years back but then reached out to Pat to coach me to help make even more progress (and get the lifting, protein, mindset down).
Since that experience, and my own journey losing weight, I realized that I wanted to help people with their weight loss journey as well!
I’ve been through the experience & know that it can be challenging. BUT knowing what to focus on (and having some there to guide/support you), you can make A LOT of progress!
